The new Maver N47 competition pole can only be described as incredible in both terms of innovation, price and performance.

It is a pole with a host of outstanding features and at its price is outstanding value for money.

Innovative 'Sun core' finish, 'Power zone' reinforcement on sections 5 to the butt, 'Magic steps' on the match and power kits and 'Fusion' on sections 2, 3, 4 and the power number 1.

The N47 is manufactured from high modulus carbon and further reinforced with super lithium and the rigidity, weight and balance is incredible. Its rapidity of action is superb and will easily cope with commercial carp angling as well as speed fishing with lighter elastics.

When the High active power kits are fitted the N47 will cope with hard fighting commercial carp with 12 to 20 elastics.

By removing the bush the long power kits are converted to balanced match kits by telescoping the Magic step number 1 section through the tip of the power kit.

This pole is at home on rivers, lakes, and canals.

It weighs just 579g at 11.5m and a featherweight 801g at 13m.

This 12' two piece quiver with 2oz and 3oz push in tips also has a spare Avon style 1.5lb test curve top section making it ideal for slow moving rivers like the Warwickshire, Hampshire and Bristol Avon.

It is capable of casting up to 3oz and is also a rod that is more than suitable for catching double figure stillwater carp.

The Avon top has a crisp and fast action for trotting large stick floats and balsas as well as large wagglers making it an extremely versatile float rod.
